Community Pediatrics has established walk-in to provide services to families to minimize absences from work and school.
How to use this?
Just walk in between the times noted and your child will be taken on a first come first serve basis. No appointment is necessary.
What types of problems should be seen in Walk-in?
Walk-in is reserved for acute illness, for example colds, coughs , sore throats, minor injuries, fevers, acute asthma attacks etc.
What types of appointments should be scheduled appointments?
Physicals, follow-ups, school problems or chronic problems: for example chronic headaches or abdominal pain. These issues require longer periods of time and are best address in a scheduled appointment. Also you may schedule same day sick appointments. The triage person will help you if you are not sure or just need advice.
