Community Pediatrics has established walk-in to provide services to families to minimize absences from work and school.

How to use this?

Just walk in between the times noted and your child will be taken on a first come first serve basis. No appointment is necessary.

What types of problems should be seen in Walk-in?

Walk-in is reserved for acute illness, for example colds, coughs , sore throats, minor injuries, fevers, acute asthma attacks etc.

What types of appointments should be scheduled appointments?

Physicals, follow-ups, school problems or chronic problems: for example chronic headaches or abdominal pain.  These issues require longer periods of time and are best address in a scheduled appointment.  Also you may schedule same day sick appointments.  The triage person will help you if you are not sure or just need advice.
